Fourth Annual Maker-Style “Creator Faire” Event To Be Held in Petaluma Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Noon


PETALUMA, CA – Gold Sponsors, the Petaluma Chapter of the Kiwanis Club and Stonecrop Technologies are pleased to partner with the River Montessori Foundation to present the Fourth Annual Creator Faire, a maker-style community event celebrating hands-on learning, on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12:00PM to 4:00PM at River Montessori Charter School, 3880 Cypress Drive in Petaluma.

With over 45 different hands-on, art and science-centric, Creator Stations, the 2018 Creator Faire attracted more than 500 people; the January 26, 2019 edition will be even bigger and better!

At the Creator Faire, parents, volunteers, nonprofits, and local companies work at outdoor tables, under tents and indoors to provide this fun and educational experience to children of all ages — rain or shine.

Some favorite 2019 Creator Stations are facilitated and sponsored or hosted by: Dylan and Alisha Try It All, FACTS (Families Advocating for Chemical and Toxics Safety), Hamilton Stoneworks, Jayme Cellitioci, Author of “Wonder is My Compass”, K9 Country Club & Kitty SpaPatterson’s AppliancePediatric Dentistry Raymond A. Ramos, D.D.S & Associates, Petaluma ROCKS, Point Blue Conservation Science — STRAW (Students and Teachers Restoring a Watershed), Sage and Salt Nutrition, Steve & Kate’s Camp, Stonecrop Technologies, The Northern California Chapter of the Mars Society, The Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County, The Petaluma Chapter of the Kiwanis Club, Toy B Ville, YPI (Young Performers International). Others are created and run by River Montessori families, like the ever popular TASBot.

Food, Three Twins Ice Cream and drinks, including local favorite, Revive Kombucha, will be available for purchase onsite.

All this for a suggested donation of just $7 per person or $25 per family! No one will be turned away for lack of funds. All families are welcome to participate in the 40+ art and science, hands-on Creator Stations. Donations can be made at the event or at Proceeds from the Creator Faire benefit the River Montessori Foundation, whose funds go directly to the school for ongoing operations.
